Dairy-Free Mayan Hot Chocolate

Hot chocolate is seriously my jam in the winter months.  I try to justify how much I drink because cocoa has magnesium and I really need that stuff to help me function well and I bet you do too because every person I’ve ever worked with does.  Well here is one of my favorite recipes that just so happens to be on my Winter version of the 7 Day Detox program.

Dairy-free Mayan Hot Chocolate
Serves 2
Warm up with some dairy free goodness and help your gut heal while you enjoy the cozy comfort of hot chocolate with a little kick!

Ingredients
  1. 2 cups almond milk
  2. ¼ cup raw cacao
  3. 1 heaping teaspoon of cinnamon
  4. dash of cayenne pepper
Instructions
  1. Puree everything in a blender
  2. Warm the puree on the stove and enjoy!
