When I was enduring treatment for chronic Lyme disease, nearly every day I would have a Super Immunity Booster smoothie. It is a combo of nutrient-dense whole foods that help to boost immunity, is super easy to make especially when you have no energy or time to prepare a quality meal and ensures you get coconut oil (a spectacular antimicrobial) and all sorts of other healing foods into your body. This certainly helped my body to heal and even if you don’t have Lyme it’s a great meal replacement full of nourishing ingredients that can keep you building and supporting a superb level of immunity!

- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- 1/2 cup coconut milk or water
- 1 small green tipped banana or half of a large one
- 1-2 raw egg yolks from pastured hens (don't ever eat raw egg whites!)
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 TBSP coconut oil
- 1 large leaf or 2 smaller ones of kale
- 1 1/2 TBSP cocoa powder
- 2 TBSP of glutamine powder (start with 1 tsp and work your way up!)
- 2 scoops of collagen powder
- 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries, blueberries or raspberries
- 1 TBSP of chia seeds
- Combine everything except the berries and the chia seeds in a blender
- Blend until smooth, about 15-20 sec
- Then add the frozen fruit and blend again for 15-30 sec
- Finally add the chia seeds and blend about 5-10 sec
- If you want to use fresh berries, add 2-4 ice cubes.
- Substitute 1 tsp of non-flavored greens powder for the kale if preferred.
- I recommend Vital Proteins or Great Lakes Gelatin powder brands.
- For a fantastic nutrition kick add 1/4 - 1/2 tsp of beef liver powder, you can't taste it!
- Add more water, coconut water or almond milk if your smoothie is too thick.
